BAILEY, David Ray - Of Flint, age 73, died Thursday, November 5, 2020 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle, 1013 Hughes Avenue, Flint, MI 48503.
Bishop Keith McKinnies officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle.
Visitation 5-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 12 Noon Tuesday at church until the time of the service.
David was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on December 16, 1946, the son of the late Doc and Blanche (Curtis) Bailey. He was employed at V-8 Engine Plant for 37 years. David was a member of VFW #822 Honor Guard and Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle. David loved to hunt, dancing and singing karaoke.
Surviving are children, James (Regina) Gunnells, Nancy Wendling and Melanie Bailey;
grandchildren, David (Danielle) Miley, Wyatt and Amanda Gunnells, Allen Kruse, Bailey and Cody Wendling;
great-grandchildren, Lileigh, Logan and Mason;
4 brothers and 2 sisters;
and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, granddaughter, Ashley and great-grandson, Baby Lucas.
