DEAN, Philip Walter – Of Swartz Creek, age 74, died Thursday, April 29, 2021 at his residence.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Life Christian Fellowship.
Philip was born in Flint, Michigan on May 26, 1946, the son of
Hugh and Dorothy (Rosson) Dean.
He was proud to serve in the U.S. Army in Korea.
On May 19, 1973 he married Sandra Bowron and she preceded him in death on January 10, 2021.
He attended West Flint Church for many years where he was head Usher and also attended New Life Christian Fellowship.
He loved woodworking, played guitar, enjoyed reading and bowling. Above all else he loved his family.
Surviving are children, April Dean and Philip II (Jaime);
grandchildren, Michaela, Madeline, Mackenzie Pettey,
Lincoln, Everett and Finnegan Dean;
brother, Hugh (Dianne);
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Joseph; brothers, Ronnie and Kenneth.
