Guiles, Robert D. - Age 81, of Burton, died October 18, 2021 at his home with his family. Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 12 Noon until the time of the service on Sunday October 24. Those desiring may make contributions to the Old Newsboys. Robert was born August 30, 1940, in Saginaw. He married Sharon Moore in Flint on January 30, 1964. He worked for General Motors for 16 years. Bob was always helpful to everyone, he was a caring, kind person. He loved hunting, fishing, going out to eat, and especially big family gatherings with his wife, kids and grandkids. He enjoyed driving his John Deere tractor everywhere. When his kids were in school he was known to drive his pick-up truck through the neighborhood to give everyone a ride to school. Surviving are: his wife of 57 years Sharon; daughter Dawn Guiles (Daniel Hazeltine); grandchildren, Daniel Teeple, James Teeple, Novie (Daniel) Perez, Harlee Guiles; ten great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son James; great-granddaughters, Izabellah and Ayiana; three brothers; two sisters; and sister-in-law.
