MELLEN, Tamara A. (nee Bonney) -- Age 58, of El Mirage AZ, formerly of Redford MI, passed away March 18, 2022. Services will be held 12:30 PM Thursday, March 24 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 5151 Lennon Rd., Flint. Rev. Lindsey Carnes officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions to the family to assist with expenses are appreciated. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Tamara was born October 14, 1963 in Flint, MI to Denny Bonney and Sharon Bonney (nee Fraser). She was a 1981 Swartz Creek High School graduate. Tamara married Dewayne Mellen on December 11, 1993. She enjoyed highland dancing, and had an eclectic taste in music; Celtic, bagpipes, Mongolian rock, and The Hu. Tamara was a huge animal lover, she will always be remembered for her kind and loving heart and being everyone's second mom. Surviving are: husband, Dewayne Mellen; son, Cameron "Cam" Mellen; daughter, Mariah "Riah" Mellen; mother, Sharon Bonney of Swartz Creek; and "not son," Andrew Fait. She was preceded in death by her father, Denny Bonney; and brother, Bradley Bonney. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
