Summers, Walker T. Of Flushing, age 57, died Monday, September 6, 2021, at Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc. A memorial gathering will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at Rossell Funeral Home. Please come casual and sport any Detroit Lions gear if you have any. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Walker was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 14, 1963, the son of Gary Brock and Joan Elaine (Potter) Summers. Walker worked in the Flooring Industry for many years and recently became co-founder of Walker and Sons Construction with his son. He was an avid Detroit Lions fan. Walker loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed music, his dogs and Jesus. His greatest joy was being a grandpa to his grandbabies.
Walker is survived by his girlfriend, Christine Persall; children, Jena (Michael Jones) Summers, Walker (Krystal Indlekofer) Summers; step-daughter, Mandy; grandchildren, Oliver, Henry (due any day), Paige, Christian; brother, Gary (Kimberly) Summers, Jr.; special “adoptive” children, Brooke (Christopher) Rose, Boceifuss (Jennifer) Szukhent; his best friend, Jonathon; his niece Roxanne Glass and her son’s, Tyler and Cameron; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Debbie and Donna.
