LOVE (HANSON) (SMITH), Lois M. - Of Flint, age 91, died Sunday, November 7, 2021
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Brad Walker
officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 12 noon Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Lois was born in Alpena, Michigan on March 6, 1930, the daughter of Ralph and Margaret (Hall) Gilbertson and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life.
She was a member of West Court Street Church of God for many years.
She loved her cats, dancing, playing billiards and Bingo. She enjoyed watching The Price Is Right, Waltons, Young and the Restless and Little House on the Prairie. She also had a fondness for ice cream.
Surviving are 2 children, Theresa Puckett of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Nora Smith of Owosso;
4 grandchildren, Andy, Jenifer, Courtney and Ethan;
12 great-grandchildren;
2 sisters, Loretta Keyes of Flint and Janice Ferris of Flint;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her 2 sons, Kenneth Smith, in 2002 and Glen Smith, in 1962; her parents, Ralph Gilbertson and Margaret (Hall) and Lloyd Martin.
