SIZEMORE, Charles Vernon – Of Gaines, age 76, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Visitation 12 p.m. and Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Harvest Time Tabernacle, 7370 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Pastor Russell Hubbard officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Visitation 3- 8 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at church.
Charles was born in Asher, Kentucky on March 20, 1944, the son of
The late Charles and Mary Jean (Hoskins) Sizemore.
On August 17, 1965 he married Veda Brock.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He attended Lighthouse and enjoyed camping and fishing.
Mr. Sizemore was employed by Chevy Truck & Bus for 43 years.
Surviving are wife, Veda;
2 children, Valera (John) Johnston and Charles Christopher Sizemore;
7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Angela Stacy and Rhonda Buchanan;
brothers, Calloway L. Sizemore and Bruce “B.J.” Sizemore;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Medeea Sizemore and grandson, Christopher.
