Gerald 'Jerry' Giammarco, age 73 of Holly passed away May 5, 2022. Gerald was born in Steubenville, Ohio the son of the late Theodore and Dora (Vecchione) Giammarco. He met the love of his life, Bonnie Skeels in Flint, they married on June 16, 1973. They joyfully celebrated 48 years of marriage. He worked for the Foundry Factory 81, Buick City and Orion Assembly retiring after 38 years. Jerry was involved in theater in many surrounding areas including Buckham Alley Theater, Blue Heron Production, Fenton Village Players, Clarkston Players and Halsey Players. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Bonnie Giammarco; children, Tiffany Lee Giammarco, Stephanie Lee Allwelt (Thomas), Joey McCarthy; grandchildren, Thaeden, Crystal, David, Benny; siblings, Thomasina (Danny) Coppenhaver, Robert Giammarco and his special running buddy Thunder. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by brother, Theodore (Margaret) Giammarco, sister in law, Edna Giammarco and parents in law, Arthur and Barbara Skeels and Andrew Garant. Visitation will be held from 4PM-8 PM Monday, May 9, 2022 with a funeral service at 11:00 AM. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Dryer Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. There will be a graveside ceremony immediately following at Sunset Hills Cemetery, with a celebration of life dinner at Halsey Methodist Church 10006 Halsey Rd., Grand Blanc. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Halsey United Methodist Church.
