CHRISTLE, Patricia J. – of Flint, age 83 died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Bentley Manor in Clio. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. A private family service will take place. Burial at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Due to Covid and government regulations, only 25 people are allowed in our chapel at one time and mask are required. Thank you for your understanding. Memorial contributions in Patricia’s name may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Patricia was born November 19, 1937 in Flint, Michigan to the late Robert and Yvonne (Arsenault) Conway. She lived most of her life in the Flint area. Patricia worked and retired after many faithful years of service with the Flint Carman Ainsworth Community School District. In her free time, Patricia loved singing at the Clio Senior Center with her friends in the group the Country Ramblers. She also was an avid animal lover and rescued as many as she could. Patricia also had a special whit about herself and loved making people laugh.
Surviving are: Daughters, Christine Smith, Katrina “Tina” Johnston and Lisa Nielsen; Grandchildren, Mandy, Shannon, Tony, Marilyn, Kristal (J. J.), Jeffery, Michael, Angie (Jim), Matthew (Deanna) and Tyler (Ali); also survived by many great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives. A special thank you to her niece Sharon Brown for taking on the care of her beloved pets; and to Bentley Manor for the great comfort and care given to our mom the past few years. She was preceded in death by her sons; Wayne “Buddy” Darrell Christle and Ricky Allen Christle; former husband Wayne Lawrence Christle; son in law David Smith; great grandson Anthony Cody Shook and 11 siblings.
