SCHMIDT, Deborah Kay - Age 68, of Linden, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 25, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (A live stream of the service will be available on Deborah's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Vincent Slocum officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 4-8 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Deborah was born June 29, 1953 in Flint, the daughter of George B. and Marilyn M. (Porter) Simons. She was a 1971 graduate of Lake Fenton High School and she received a Bachelor's Degree from the Ft. Lauderdale Art Institute. She married Grover Q. Schmidt July 22, 1972 in Florida. Deborah resided in the Fenton/Linden area most of her life. She was a member of Lake Fenton United Methodist Church. She was an artist and enjoyed painting on canvas. She also enjoyed art and crafts, gardening, and cooking.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Grover. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marilyn Simons. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
