MARICLE, Angeline “Angie” – Of Flint, Michigan, age 91, died Friday, July 18, 2025, at her family home of sixty-seven years. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Michigan. Pastor Bill Christensen officiating. Visitation will be 1-8pm Tuesday and 10am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Angeline was born in Flint, Michigan on March 18, 1934, the daughter of the late George and Helen (Sordyl) Kovachevich. On July 16, 1951, she married the love of her life Robert L. Maricle and together they raised their eight children and had a combined total of over one hundred grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. Angie was the most Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was very talented and loved to crochet, sew and work on craft projects. She was always involved in her children’s activities at school, scouts and spending countless time up north in Lake City with family and friends. She enjoyed hosting family parties and was also an excellent cook. Angeline always made holidays special, she was a giver and would do anything for her children and grandchildren, who called her Babcia, which is Polish for Grandma. She was a very confident woman who was so proud of her Polish Heritage and she loved singing polish songs to her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by those who loved her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with the love of her life, Bob. Surviving are her daughters, Patricia (Gary) Pickerell, Charlene (Jack) Powell, Marie (Gary) LaBar- Dudderar, Brenda Bruce (Lin), Karen (Paul) Hadden, Yvonne Maricle (Craig); Daughter In-Law, Sue Maricle; Grandchildren, Rhonda (Mike) Perrin, Sherry Pickerell, Lisa (Gabe) Ray, David (Jeannie) Powell, Kimberly (Charles) Smith III, Adam Powell, Jason (Jeanna) LaBar, April LaBar, Joshua (Cristian) LaBar, Jessica (Joshua) Vanderpool, Brian Maricle, Rebecca Maricle, Joseph Bruce, Melissa Bruce, Jack (Ali) Bruce, Angela (Ken) Gorney, Shawn Miller and Samantha (Nicholas) O’Reilly; 48 great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren; Sisters, Christine (Chuck) Hall and Rosie (Roger) Shelley; sister-In law Barbara Kovachevich. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Maricle, sons, Robert G., and Michael Maricle, son in-law, Jack Bruce, grandsons, Baby Gary Pickerell, Jeffrey Pickerell, Robert M. Maricle, Jeremy LaBar, and great-grandson, Baby Lukas Gorney, brothers, Stanley, Milton and Mitchell Kovachevich and sisters, Mary and Donna Kovachevich.
