Brian Edward Thick age 51 of Swartz Creek passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 20, 2018 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Burial to follow to Fremont Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service.
Brian was born November 18, 1966 in Flint, MI a son of Thomas and Irene (Cobleiah) Thick. Although he was born the littlest brother to Tom, Matt and Laura, he came out weighing a whopping 11 pounds. Brian graduated from Morrice High School in 1985 and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. Brian loved to hunt, fish, watch Nascar, and work on automobiles. He would take them apart and then try to put them back together. He also took great pride in his job at Atrium in Howell where he had been employed for the last 21 years. Of all his journeys, his last path led him to his home in Swartz Creek where he spent his days with his wife and family.
Brian leaves behind his wife of 8 years, Jessica Thick; his son, Christian Thick of Fowlerville; stepsons, Christopher Hernandez of Fowlerville and Jeffrey Asmus of Swartz Creek; brother, Mathew (Candis) Thick of Bancroft; sister, Laura (Shannon) Norton of Bancroft and his mother, Irene Thick of Bancroft. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. Thick Sr.; and eldest brothers, Thomas L. Thick Jr. and Eric Allen Thick. Rest in peace Brian. You are loved.
