HOHN, Paul – Of Flint, age 75, died surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Paul was born in Flint, Michigan on December 16, 1946, the son of Vernon and Olvet (Lemons) Hohn.
He married Shirley Mexicotte on November 27, 1965 in Flint, Michigan and she preceded him in death on December 18, 2004.
Paul was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and retired from General Motors after more than 40 years.
He will be remembered for his love of family, his caring heart and his love of sports, especially University of Michigan Football.
Surviving are his daughters, Cynthia Fairgate, Paula and husband Kyle Pierson;
sister-in-law, Ruby Hohn;
sister-in-law, Donna and husband Darwin Parks;
brother-in-law, Bernard and wife Dorothy Mexicotte;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Vernon Hohn Jr.
