JONES, Harold Duane “Harry” – Of Flint, age 56, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Harold “Harry” was born in Flint, Michigan on March 5, 1965, the son of the late Edward and Mary (Harris) Jones.
On April 9, 1988 he married Kris Jones.
He loved coaching youth football and baseball, snowmobiling and boating. His sanctuary was Burt Lake and Indian River.
He was a wonderful husband, dad and loved all of his family and friends. Harry didn’t meet a stranger.
Mr. Jones was a meat cutter at Kroger/Kessel.
Surviving are wife, Kristina (Kris) Jones;
sons, Nicholas Duane Robert Jones (fiancee’ Dusty Mogg),
Cameron Duane James Jones (fiancee’ Kaitlin Peevey);
one grandchild on the way;
father and mother-in-law, Robert “Bob” and Linda Jones;
sister-in-law, Kim (Gary) Smith;
great-niece, Rachel Burrows (Zach);
3 great-great-nephews, Ryan, Wyatt and Max;
many friends considered family and especially his fur baby, Mollie Mae and granddogs, Remi and Rollie.
A special thanks to Dr. Thomas Shuster and staff; Rodney Coleman (Prosthetist) for all of their special care and concern.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
