Robin Lynn (Gruno) Pickens age 63 of Columbiaville died Tuesday January 30, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 3, 1960. Robin grew up in Otisville, MI, where she attended school, met her husband, and raised her children.
Her family was her world (even the ones that were not blood, she was called mom by many), she enjoyed every minute she was able to spend with them. She was the host of foreign exchange students that she had continued to stay in contact with over the years and loved watching their families grow through social media. Robin enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, watching the wildlife around the property and more recent road trips with her friends. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Donald Pickens; Children, son Rollo Pickens and daughters Shawn (Dana Powers) Pickens and Kristen Parsons; Granddaughters - Chelsea Haubenstricker, Khloe Engelmann, Kiera Lagness and Elianna Mae Dufort; Grandsons - Kyle Ligget, Jayden Pickens, Peyton Pickens and Timothy Lagness; Great Grandson - Kyle Ligget Jr. Also survived by siblings; Daryleen Dufort, Emmet Gruno, Linda Hammel, Mary (Dale) Fuller, Penny (Butch) Cargill, Michael (Dianna) Gruno. Sister-in-laws - Nancy Gruno, Georgina Garner; Brother-in-laws - Rollo (Janice) Pickens, Bob LaRose; many nieces and nephews, best friends Mike and Maria Church and furbaby Oscar.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Emmet and Molly Gruno, Rollo and Virginia Pickens, Brother: William Gruno; Brother-in-laws; Jeffrey Pickens, Bob Garner, Earl Hammel, William Dufort; Sister-in-laws Sylvia LaRose, Julie Gruno; Nephews; Scott LaRose, Keith Parker, Chris Gruno, Kenneth Gruno, Skyler Reeves
