ANGUS, Mildred “Millie” Ella (Turner) – of Davison, MI, age 87, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Monday, June 26, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Larry Burk officiating. The family will receive visitors 1-2 PM Monday, June 26, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries, www.carriagetown.org, in Millie’s memory.
Millie was born in Flint, MI on November 27, 1935, daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Michelson) Turner. She married Dave Angus on December 26, 1959 in Flint, MI. Millie’s life was dedicated to her Lord Jesus Christ and was defined by self-sacrificing service to everyone. She enjoyed ceramics, cross stitch, quilting, sewing, canning, cooking, baking, gardening, macrame, decoupage and scrap booking. Millie was smart and determined. But nothing thrilled her more than to be with and support her husband, children and grandchildren.
Mildred is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dave Angus; 2 sons, John (Lynn) Angus and Mike Angus; 4 grandchildren, Xavier, Alexis, MacKenzie and Brennan; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mildred Turner.
