LLOYD, Annette Terese – of Clio, age 67, died Monday, August 29, 2022, at Riverglens Assisted Living. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 3, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 Am until the time of service at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hilarity for Charity, a non-profit that supports caregivers and families affected by Alzheimer’s
Annette was born November 12, 1954, in Flint, Michigan to the late Urban and Geraldine (Hetu) Seymour. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Southwestern High School with the class of 1972. On December 29, 1972, she married Robert Lloyd at Holy Redeemer Church in Burton, Michigan. One of her greatest joys was to be able to stay home and raise her family. Once her children were all grown, Annette decided it was her time. She went back to school, graduating with an associate degree in Medical Administration from Baker College in 2002. She was so proud of herself. Annette went on to work as an administrative medical assistant for Dr. Hak and Dr. Asmar for 10 years before she retired in 2011. She enjoyed reading, genealogy, puzzles, crocheting, and playing Scrabble with her grandchildren. Most of all she loved spending time with family especially our annual holiday baking. Annette's favorite quote was "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away".
Surviving are: Husband of 49 years, Robert Lloyd; Children, Peter (Mona) Lloyd, Kristi (Jeff) Kranz, Liana (Nate) Choate; Grandchildren, Christopher (Amanda) Lloyd, Brandan (Amber) Lloyd, Andrew (Hannah) Lloyd, Skyler Lloyd, Alex Choate, Ben Choate; Great Grandchildren, Elizabeth Lloyd, Hudson Lloyd, and Hallie Lloyd on the way.
