Eleanor Coste Ennis was born on September 17, 1940 in the city of New Orleans, LA to the late Henry Coste, Sr and Madeline (Parker) Coste. She was the fifth of six children. She is survived by her beloved husband, Wilbur L. Ennis, sister Janet Castanel of Shreveport, LA, sister-in-law Joyce Coste of New Orleans, LA. She moved to Michigan in September 1963 after having her first "White Christmas" after a visit with her sister and family in 1962. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to her beloved husband Wilbur Ennis on July 2, 1972. She was an employee of Citizens Bank for 17 years. Upon leaving Citizens Bank she was employed with D&N bank until her retirement due to illness in May 1992. Left to cherish her memory beloved husband, sister, sister-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends especially Barbara Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Madeline (Parker) Coste, sister Bernardine Verdun, and brothers Henry Coste, Jr, Martin Coste and Raymond Coste. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tues. Nov. 30, 2021 at St. Rita Catholic Church of Holly with Father David Blazek, Celebrant. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Holly. Family Hour will be held from 5-7 PM Mon, with a Rosary prayed at 6:30 PM at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly. Memorial donations may be made to St. Rita Catholic Church.
