EAKER, Lois Marie (Brewer) – of Flint, MI, age 91, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022. Cremation has taken place. A Private service will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries, 605 Garland Street, Flint, MI 48503, www.carriagetown.org
Lois was born in Flint, MI on October 10, 1930, daughter of the late William and Florence (Near) Brewer. She loved her family and was always ready to travel, especially with her sister, Carol Bradford. Lois retired from Durant-Tuuri-Mott School before enjoying some time in Tawas. She returned to the Flint area in 2000 to host a multitude of family and friends which usually concluded with a delicious pie.
Lois is survived by 4 daughters, Linda (James) Rudel of East Tawas, MI, Jeanne (Gabriel) Shaheen of Trinity, FL, Jaqueline (Gary) Gibson of Plano, TX and Lee Ann (Michael) King of Burton, MI. She was also a grandmother to nine and a great-grandmother to a growing group of ten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiliam and Florence Brewer; first husband, John I. Ring, Jr.; second husband, Wilbert L. Eaker and only son, John W. Ring.
