LACHAPELLE, STEVEN JOHN – Of Flint Township, age 66, died Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
Per Steven’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service at this time.
Contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Steven was born in Flint Township, Michigan on September 22, 1957, the son of the late John and Mickie LaChapelle.
He married Diana Martin in 2005 and she preceded him in death in 2023.
Steven enjoyed fishing and spending time with his wife, Diana and their pets, Bella and Kitkat.
He was an easy going guy and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Steven was employed by Donlee Heating & Cooling for many years before starting his own business.
Surviving are sisters, Kathryn (Bob) Waggoner and Karen (Gerry Davis) LaChapelle;
children, Kandi Duford, Craig Stevens and Patsy (Jamison) Holder;
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
nieces, nephews;
large extended in-law family;
his dog, Bella and cat, Kitkat.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana and sister, Kristine Walker.
