GREEN, Roger Lee - Age 68, of Flint, died December 13, 2013 at Genesys Health Park.
Private services will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.
Roger was born September 20, 1945 in Saginaw the son of Arthur and Robertine (Thompson) Green. He graduated from Vassar High School and had attended Mott Community College. He resided most of his adult life in Flint. Roger retired from GM with 48 years of service. He had a rental business in Flint for many years. He was an avid snow skier and the originator of the Lee Family Reunion in Frankenmuth.. He was married to Maria (Nedanis) Papalazarou.
Surviving are: mother Robertine; wife Maria; daughter Tanya (Steven) Murphy; sisters, Judy (Melvin) Willis, Cheryl (Ronald) Kanyok; brother Gary Green; two grandchildren, William and Olivia who he loved very much; Maria's children, Mitra (Tasso) Pagonis, Lena (Thaso) Vassiliou; Maria's grandchildren, Ivanna and Natasha; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers Tim and David. A special thank you is extended to Gary and Dennis.
