Kathleen Ewing, age 64, passed on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at her residence in Sylvania. She was born in Ireland on November 22, 1946 to Thomas and Margaret (Gallagher) McNulty. Before moving to the United States, she worked as a nurse in London, where she met and married her husband. The wife of Jerry Ewing, she made her family her career. Kathleen was a wonderful mother and loved being a grandmother to her two grandchildren. She enjoyed interior design and had an appreciation for art. Kathleen was a very gentle woman and was known for her great sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; children, Gerald (Lisa), Anita (John) Jenkins, and Bob; grandchildren Colin and Logan; sisters, Mary and Ann McNulty and brother, Michael (Marion) McNulty. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., (west of Corey Rd.) with the Rosary recited at 7 PM. The funeral service will be on Friday with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM followed by Mass of the Resurrection at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane.
