WALKER, Mathew Ryan - Of Flint, age 32, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation of Michigan or Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Florida.
Visitation 11am Saturday, September 23, 2023 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mathew was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 13, 1991, the son of Terry and Lori Hill. Mathew enjoyed making people laugh, bowling, watching sports on television and spending time with his family.
Surviving are parents, Terry and Lori Hill;
brothers, Jonathon Walker, Erick Walker, Zackery Hill and Jeremy Barber;
sister, Taylor Hill;
grandparents, Patricia and husband Stan Nelson;
a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins;
and longtime companion, Tabby Dowless, who he spent hours on the phone with.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Etoy Hill, Glenn and Joyce Chaffins, grandfather, Earl Walker, aunt, Karen Wood, and cousins, Jeffrey Helm Jr. and Samantha Wood.
