HOLKO, Michael Robert – of Davison, MI, age 56, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:30 PM Saturday, September 3, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Interment immediately following the Mass in Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 2-7 PM on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home Friday, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Saturday until the time of Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Mike was born in Flint, MI on August 17, 1966, son of Don and “Ma Joan” Korth-Holko. Mike enjoyed talking and listening to others and “never met a stranger.” Whenever there was a family or friend in need of anything, he would help them and always did it with a smile. Mike loved any gathering, especially spending time with family and friends. One of his favorite past times was cooking. He was a great Chef. Mike loved rock and roll and all music from the 60’s.
Mike is survived by his parents, Don (Joan) Holko; siblings, Tina Holko-Fajardo, Michele (Matt) Paulic, Sergio (Jordyn) Korth, Andrea (Jay) Flood and Liz Linton; daughter, Patricia; nieces, Miryea Fajardo, Madison (Harrison) Brode, Ella Paulic, Lillian and Charlotte Korth; other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his companion of more than 20 years, Kerrie Jean Estep; grandparents, Catherine and George Holko; Uncle Andy Holko; Uncle Jim Reid; and Aunt Barbara Colwell. A special thank you to Greg Williams, great friend, sponsor and mentor.
Mike will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
