BARANCIK, Jason Jeremiah "Jay" - Age 45, of Flint, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (A live stream of the service will be available on Jason's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). In honor of Jason, the family requests that you wear jeans and tee shirts to the visitation and service. Mr. Peter Haist officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Michelle and the family through Faith City Church, 806 Main St, Fenton, MI 48430.
Jay was born July 3, 1976 in Flint, the son of Karl and Sandra (Ross) Barancik. He was a 1994 graduate of Good Heritage Learning Center. He married Michelle Marie Gingras February 14, 2009. He was employed by TRP (Reefer Peterbilt) in Bay City for the past 4 years. He was a faithful member of Faith City Church in Fenton, where he was in charge of the audio. Jay enjoyed playing poker and was an avid University of Michigan Football and Detroit Lions fan. He was a hard worker and a devoted family man.
Surviving are his wife, Michelle; daughters, Aimee, Victoria, and Karsyn; parents, Karl and Kathi Barancik of New Port Richey, FL; siblings, Andrew (Kristen) Barancik of Fenton, Tabitha (Christopher) Blue of New Port Richey, FL, and Jeremy (Crystal) Barancik of New Port Richey, FL; grandmother, Joan Barancik of Mt. Morris; In-laws, Doug and Linda Gingras of Grand Blanc; brother-in-law, Derek (Kelly) Gingras of West Bloomfield; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
