Jack Jennings Lince Jr., age 71 of Flint, Michigan, passed away on July 7, 2022. The family will receive visitors Thursday July 21, 2022, at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI 48503 from 4:00 PM untill the time of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass Friday July 22, at 11:00 AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church 2415 Bagley St. Flint, MI. 48504. Fr. Firestone Officiating. He was born March 23, 1951. Surviving is his wife, Kathy (Dutil) Lince; daughters Heather Lince, Cynthia Lince (Greg Griffin), and Andrea (Will) McDunnah; niece Mary (Mike) Taber; 11 grandchildren Justin, Kyla, Ashley, Emily, Connor, Alyssa, Madison, Tanner, Zachary, Liam, and Nathan; and 4 great grandchildren Ardyn, Alex, Soryn, and Augusta. He is preceded in death by his son, Aaron Lince, his parents Jack and Jaris Lince, his brother Dennis Lince, niece Denise Lince, and his loyal companions Louie and Nino.
Jack was a graduate of Southwestern in Flint and had a BA from Mott Community College. He was an auto worker employed by GM and retired in 2020 after 48 years of service. He attended church at St. John Vianney in Flint and Jack was an avid reader, wonderful baker, euchre player, bird watcher, a crossword enthusiast and a dedicated Detroit Tigers fan.
