"Peter Thomas Willard of Flint, MI passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 23, 2023. Funeral visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes in Swartz Creek, MI Friday, December 01 from 4-8 PM. Following a funeral service Saturday December 02 at 11:00 A.M. Peter was known for being a die-hard fan of The Detroit Lions, The Detroit Tigers, and The Detroit Red Wings. Back in the day he enjoyed attending the Flint Generals hockey games with his family. He was notorious for his love of the city of Flint and enjoyed spending his time with his friends downtown, whether it was at Halo burger, Jelly Bean records, or the Vista Center. Peter loved walking, biking, and riding his moped around the city. He was never seen without a radio. He listened to his favorite rock n roll music daily.
He is survived by his children Catherine (Daniel) Chandler, Marjorie (David) Wallace. His grandchildren; Mackenzie, Madison, James, and Gabrielle. His brother Jimmy Baker and his sister Lynn Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents; Raymond Willard and Katherine Baker. Brother David Willard. Nephew David Willard Jr. and niece Laurie Willard. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Mission Point for helping take care of Peter.
