Irene L. Buck age 89 of Durand, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Hurley Medical Center. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel.
Irene Lois Scanlon was born October 29, 1935 in Montrose, MI a daughter of Joseph and Ester (Larkin) Scanlon. On August 11, 1956 she married Jack Buck. Irene enjoyed flowers, working in her yard, laughing and spending time with her family. Prior to her retirement, she had worked at Meijer for over 20 years.
Irene is survived by her daughter, Janette (Mike) Rauch; granddaughter, Melissa; great grandchildren, Colton, Ezekiel and Ezreila; siblings, Doris, Dale and Marge; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Buck; grandson, Justin Buck; brothers, Maurice and Lawrence; and sisters, Bernice and Eva.
