ZIEMBO, Jurell “Jeri” Iva (Badour) – of Davison, MI, age 88, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Cremation has taken place. Jurell will be laid to rest with her husband, Bob, in Davison Cemetery.
Jurell was born in Au Gres, MI on March 7, 1936, daughter of the late Willard and Ione (Chase) Badour. On July 2, 1955, she married Robert “Bob” Ziembo and he preceded her in death on August 9, 2024. Jurell was a woman of many hats. In her younger years, she loved snowmobiling on the family safaris and the many trips out west camping and sight-seeing with her family and friends. She cherished the many sleepovers with her grandchildren. After retirement, she enjoyed their home on the lake where she took up scrapbooking and paper toll.
Jurell is survived by her 4 children, Kenneth (Linda) Ziembo, Daniel (Elizabeth) Ziembo, Robert (Laura) Ziembo and Allan (Lora) Ziembo; 11 grandchildren, Kelly (Larry) Schmitt, Erin (Jason) Galba, Lindsay (Brady) Christopher, Matthew Ziembo, Elisabeth (Jon) Clark, Ana (Brian) Bates, Nicholas (DeeDee) Ziembo, Amanda (Joey) Tucker, Zachary (Justine) Ziembo, Jamie (Dave) Mears and Christeena (Schad) Sherman; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Willard Badour and Robert (Leona) Badour; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Ione Badour; husband, Robert “Bob” Ziembo and 6 sisters, Cleo Gulvas, Wilma Bukowski, Dorothea Trombley, Maxine Crouterfield, Evelyn Schlagel and Carol Trombley.
