LOONEY, Linda Lee - Of Clio, age 74, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at her home.
A private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Linda was born in Flint, Michigan on August 30, 1946, the daughter of the late Omer and Betty (Clontz) Apperley.
Linda enjoyed shopping, swimming, spending time with family having cookouts and loved going to Florida.
Linda worked at Buick Motor Division for 32 years, retiring in 2004.
Surviving are children, Kelly and husband Steve Lamb, Ronnie Jr. and wife Kristi Looney, Karie and husband Dion Bean;
grandchildren, Lindsey (Kevin), Steven Kyle (Taylor), Jacob (Kali), Nathan, Brayden, Grant and Taylor;
4 great-granddaughters, Hayley, Lailia, Arya and Charolette;
sisters-in-law, Vicki and husband Bill Coons,
Charolette and husband Frank Atherton;
brother-in-law, Clark and wife Nancy Looney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Looney Sr., in 2015 and brother, Gary Apperley.
