JOHNSON, Laurie A. – Of Swartz Creek and Linden, age 68, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at her residence.
Per Laurie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Laurie was born in Flint, Michigan on September 4, 1954, the daughter of the late Milton and Dorothy Hendrix. She graduated from Linden High School and attended Bake College. Laurie married Robert Johnson in 1980.She volunteered at Hurley Medical Center and was an assistant Scout Master for the Boy Scouts Troop #114. Laurie enjoyed quilting, camping, craft shows and her dog, Trip.
Surviving are her husband, Robert “Tom”;
daughter, Amanda (Jamie) Decker;
grandchildren, Lilly, Brady and Kylie.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy and her brother, Butch.
