Cass Michael Furtaw of Flint age 37, died Saturday September 4, 2021, free from addiction, at McLaren-Flint. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday September 7, 2021 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church 5458 Fenton Rd. Flint, Pastor Joel Stiff officiating. Those desiring may make contributions in Cass’s memory to the Lighthouse Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
Cass was born in Waco Texas on July 27, 1984 the son of Charles Ellyson and Therese Furtaw and has resided in the Flint area most of his life. Cass enjoyed all types of art, and attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church. He had been employed as a carpenter in the Building Trades for many years.
Surviving is mother Therese Furtaw, and his sons; Alec Furtaw, Joseph Furtaw, and Cameron Furtaw. He also leaves his partner Meagan Doughtery, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
