Welch, Michael J. – of Clio, age 61, died Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Michael was born February 28, 1961, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Paul and Rose (Asaro) Welch. He attended Clio High School, graduating with the class of 1979. Michael loved fishing, campfires and being outdoors. He enjoyed listening to many genres of music. Michael was a huge University of Michigan fan, wearing his maze and blue and supporting his Wolverines. He was a great brother and uncle who will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Brothers: Paul (Deborah) Welch, Joe (Lynda) Welch, and Tim (Linda) Welch; Nieces and nephews: Keith Welch, Andrea Welch, Eric (Christine) Welch, Bryan (Sami) Welch, Stephanie (Adam) Masters, Sean (Melissa) Welch, Chris (Corin) Welch, and John Welch. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Rose Welch. |
