BANFIELD, Robert W.R. - Of Tacoma, Washington, formerly of Burton, age 38, died Thursday, April 17, 2014.
A Memorial Service will be held 4pm Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Per Roberts wishes, cremation has taken place.
Visitation 1pm Sunday until the time of the memorial service.
Robert graduated from Bendle High School, Class of 1993 and served in the United States Marine Corps during Desert Storm and Afghanistan. He was a dedicated Marine who proudly served his country. Robert enjoyed sports and coaching kids.
Surviving are children, Robert Banfield Jr, and Kylie Banfield;
mother, Leah Brock;
brothers, Gary (Julie) Griffith and Patrick Sutterfield;
three nephews and his niece, Joshua (Ashley) Griffith, Jeremy Griffith, Monica Griffith, and Ian Sutterfield.
