Jones, David Rollin– of Clio, age 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at his residence surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 4PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 10AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designations.
David was born August 10, 1962, in Flint, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Marcia (Tune) Jones. He attended Clio High School graduating with the class of 1980. David married the love of his life Valerie Allen on September 29, 1981. He worked for C.L. Rieckhoff Co. Inc as Local 25 Ironworker. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything that had to do with being outdoors. He was a diehard University of Michigan fan, always supporting his maze and blue. Above all he was a family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many.
Surviving are: Wife of 41 years, Valerie Jones; Children: Stephanie Anne (Daniel) Kerperien, Steven Alan Jones, and Sabrina Lynn Jones; Grandsons: Daniel, Nicholas and Nathan Kerperien; Siblings: John Jones, Kimberly (Zach) Whaley, Timothy Jones, Barbara (Jeff) Hurand; Many wonderful Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; Several Nieces and Nephews; His beloved furry companion, Duke. He is preceded in death by his parents, in laws: Darrell and Joan Allen; Grandparents; Brother-In-Laws: Brett and Robin Allen.
