SIPES, Ellen Marie - Age 74, of Fenton, passed away December 27, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial will follow in Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Monday and from 11AM until the time of service Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Ennis Center for Children. Ellen was born March 30, 1947 in Durand, the daughter of Darrell Wesley and Marion Ella (Taylor) Badgero. After raising her children, she went back to school and earned a degree in Child Development. She then worked as a professional Nanny for many years. Ellen enjoyed camping, fishing and crafts. She was a hands on Grandma and was always a cheerleader for her family. She was very excited to be welcoming her first great-granddaughter, Everlyn Ellis, who is due this Summer and her namesake. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James F. Sipes; children, James W. (Terri) Sipes and Trina (Aaron) West; granddaughters, Allison (Scott) Johnson, Jessica, Kimberly, Addison and Mia West; "bonus grandson", Aiden Scott; sister, Lillian Witchell; brother, Darrell Badgero II and her dog, Coal Tar.
