WRIGHT, Margory- of Mt. Morris, formerly of Crockett County, Tennessee, age 95, died peacefully Saturday, June 11, 2022, at her daughter’s residence. Funeral service will be held 12PM Friday, June 17, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 9:30AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Margory was born August 16, 1926, in Crockett County, Tennessee, to the late Benonie and Bonita (Denham) Williamson. She attended Crockett County High School where she received her high school diploma and worked as an anesthesiologist assistant at St. Joseph’s Hospital for many years. Margory was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Flint. She was a deaf interpreter for the church services and Vacation Bible School. She held Bible classes at the Michigan School for the Deaf. Margory loved being involved with the church and being a grandmother. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Margory is forever loved by her children: Alice Carol (Kenneth) Peterie and James Michael (Jeanne) Wright; Grandchildren: Bryan Scott (Tina) Smith, Terrianne Alice (Larry) Harnden, and Jay William Smith; Great-grandchildren: Kenny, Kayla, Brianne, Brandon, and Emily; Step grandchildren: Joshua, Justin, Sarah, and Kurtis; Several great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Margory was preceded in death by her parents, Benonie and Bonita; Brother, Thomas Williamson; Sisters: Marceile Ball and Carolyn Williamson and grandson Steven Wright. |
