LATCHAW, Walter Charles, 80, of Flint Twp, passed away April 23, 2021. Committal Service 12:30 PM Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
Walter was born October 10, 1940 in Flint, the son of William and Ellen Latchaw. He graduated with honors from Dye High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. Walter retired from General Motors in 1992 working in production. He was a family man at heart and loved spending time with family. He was an avid hunter. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Latchaw, Babette (Jim) Cox, and Ranay (Andrew) Latchaw-Stacey; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
