Reed, Verda E.- of Montrose, age 73, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be at 2PM Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 11AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude.
Verda was born May 17, 1949, in Flint, Michigan to the late Samuel and Madeline (Currier) Fish. She married Michael Reed on September 11, 1982. Verda owned and operated her own small business for many years. She was a member of the Eagles and the Lions Club for many years she was the Lions Aux leader. Verda enjoyed gardening, camping, and crocheting. Above all she loved her family, and they were her world. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who will be missed by many.
Surviving are: Children: Verda-Lynn (Ken) Maynard, Karen Palmer, Greg Mcwherter, and Eric (Christine) Reed; Several grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Julie) Delong.
