KILLINGBECK, Donald R. Sr. - of Clio, age 77, died Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Ascension St. Mary’s in Saginaw. Donald was born July 1, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Victor and Verma (Emmel) Killingbeck. He grew up in the Saginaw/Buena Vista area and had lived in Montrose for the last 15+ years. Don married Kathleen M. Quinn in Lansing, Michigan, on February 9, 2018. He was in automotive sales for over 50 years. He enjoyed his motorcycles and pets - especially his dogs, Harley and Lily. Don put the capital "H" in everything he did; he loved Hard, he lived Hard, and he Hustled Hard. Although flawed, like the rest of humanity, he had a big Heart and wore it on his sleeve. All that he was, the good parts, the flawed parts, and everything in between has reached eternal peace. Leaving behind many friends and family that hopefully learned how to dream a little more, love a little harder, and hustle every time their feet hit the ground. He never stopped dreaming, always demonstrated the power of thinking positively and had a strong faith in God.

Surviving are Wife: Kathy Killingbeck; Sons: Guy (Marie) Rock, Leo Rock, Pat Killingbeck, Mike Killingbeck, John Killingbeck and Donald (Becky) Killingbeck Jr.; Daughters: Monica (Kevin) Caldwell, Treasure (Sherman) Downs, Michelle (Clyde) Davis and Marlen (Jamie) Bull-Ryan; Brothers: Victor (Janice) Killingbeck, and Richard (Kay) Killingbeck. He was also very proud and loved his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Parents: Victor and Verma; Stepson, Michael Quinn; Siblings: Shirley, Linda, and Billy.
