KOTH, Yvonne Leone - Of Swartz Creek, age 94, Monday, May 12, 2025.
Born in Pinconning in 1930 to Martin and Pauline (Carlson) Meddaugh, she recalled many great life stories.
Yvonne married Clyde Koth, meeting him at Purtell’s Ice Cream Parlor in Pinconning, where he stole her mitten and heart. Married 66 years.
They raised 3 daughters, Paula Marie Brill (Daniel), Tracy Dorris (John) and Karlene Currie (Greg).
The family were long-time members of Riverdale Baptist-Flint; with her most recently at North Baptist-Flint. She was a Sunday School Teacher, Active Girl Scout Leader, and worked at the Fair Store. Yvonne loved gardening, was a good bowler and was always fashionably accessorized.
Visitation will be Monday, May 19th at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road-Flint from 4 to 8 pm.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 20th at North Baptist Church; 4004 Lennon Road, Flint, MI 48507 at 11 am Visitation at Church 1-hour prior to service 12 pm Service with immediate procession to Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Memories and luncheon shared afterward Goodbyes to Grandma from: Kelly (Scott) Aaron, Jonathon (Francis) Dorris, Tena (Adam) Caldwell and Kyle Dorris; from Great-Grands: Brenee’ & Bre’ann Aaron; Tyler, Christian & Zachary Dorris, Aiden & Aislyn Caldwell and Ashton & Kayleigh Dorris; from her siblings Kenneth Meddaugh and Marlene Mangold.
Greatly missed here but welcoming her to heaven are Husband Clyde and Daughter Tracy.
