KITA, Donald F. and Terry S. – Of Grand Blanc, age 74, died Thursday, January 27, 2022 and Wednesday February 2, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Father Joseph Krupp officiating.

as well as on the Holy Family Catholic Church Facebook page.
Military Honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, American Cancer Society/Breast Cancer or Henry Ford Health Systems/Transplant Institute-Center For Living Donation.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. and Mrs. Kita will be at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of the Mass.
On January 25, 1969 Donald and Terry were married at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Donald and Terry were members of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Donald was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Donald was born in Flint, Michigan on September 2, 1947, the son of Donald and Dorothy (Weisgerber) Kita.
Terry was born in Flint, Michigan on November 23, 1947, the daughter of William and Mary (Wells) Miller.
Donald and Terry enjoyed nothing more than spending time with each other and their family over their 53 years of marriage.
Countless family times spent traveling to Ludington, the “Bunkhouse”, at Houghton Lake and Florida; as well as family gatherings, dinners at their home with Terry’s homemade meals and desserts.
Donald loved spending time hunting and fishing with his kids, grandkids and friends.
Terry loved spending time with her children and grandchildren baking, sharing stories, and hearing about what was happening in their lives.
Don was employed by General Motors for 43 years and was owner of Crystal Clear Pools for 30 years.
Terry was in home day care for 17 years, and co-owner of Crystal Clear Pools.
Surviving are children, Brian (Ann) Kita, Patrick (Traci) Kita and Kristen (Jason) Churchill;
grandchildren, Bryce (fiancee’ Rebecca), Zachary, Lauryn, Jack, Avery, Samarah, Elliana and Mariah;
Donald’s siblings, David (Cindy) Kita, Danita (Tom) Riker, Dorothy “Dottie” (Dave Joseph) Boone and Deloris (John) Ervin;
Terry’s siblings, Linda Hartman (John), Tom (Nancy) Miller, Mitchell Miller, Mark (Tina) Miller;
many nieces, nephews and cousins.
They were preceded in death by their parents, William and Mary Miller; Donald and Dorothy Kita.
