Born on September 8, 1952, in Owosso, Marcia was the beloved daughter of John Doneth and Norma Thompson. She graduated from Corunna High School, Class of 1971, and remained deeply rooted in her community throughout her life. A devoted member of Salem Lutheran Church, Marcia served faithfully on the Altar Guild. She was also a cherished part of her card club for over 40 years with her long-time friends. Her commitment to fellowship and faith was a cornerstone of her life.
On December 8, 1973, Marcia married Thomas Hamill at Salem Lutheran Church, beginning a loving partnership that spanned more than five decades.
Marcia dedicated 30 years of service to Saturn Electronics and Engineering, where she was known for her diligence, warmth, and integrity.
Marcia's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with Brandon, Blake, Hannah, and Jordan, whether it was cheering them on at events or simply offering a warm hug and listening ear. Her love for them was boundless, and she took immense pride in watching them grow. To them, she was not just a grandmother-she was a source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love.
She is survived by her loving husband Tom; children Lesley (Wade) Dishaw, Mary Hamill (Nic Keith), and Tommy (Linsie) Hamill; grandchildren Brandon Dishaw, Blake Dishaw, Hannah Hamill, and Jordan Hamill; brothers John (Pam) Doneth, Kevin (Donna) Doneth, and Jim (Sue) Rigoulot; sisters Norma (Alan) Kagle and Diane (Greg) Taylor; brother-in-law Dave (Rexine) Hamill; and her lifelong friend Carol Throne.
