TURKOVICS, Rosalie Mary (Whitcomb) – of Flint, MI, age 83, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11 AM Friday, January 14, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Interment in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-2 PM and 4-7 PM Thursday, January 13, 2022 and 10-11 AM Friday, January 14, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, in Rosalie’s memory.
Rosalie was born in Flint, MI on April 14, 1938, daughter of the late Coleman and Ethel (Gunsell) Whitcomb. She married Fred A. Turkovics on August 25, 1956 in Flint, MI. Rosalie retired from Curtis Printing. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Davison, MI, where she was a greeter and prepared funeral meals. Rosalie greatly enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rosalie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Fred Turkovics; 4 children, Ramona Turkovics, Katrina (Steve) Provost, Calvin (Julia) Turkovics and Mark (Paula) Turkovics; 7 grandchildren, Rebecca (Brent) Keeler, Katelyn (Scott Byrne) Boyer, Lauren Turkovics, Trent Turkovics, Dan (Jessica Cavanaugh) Provost, Tonya (Myke) Hawkins and Diego (Sara) Cuenca; 7 great-grandchildren, Shelbey Keeler, Aubrey Keeler, Riley Keeler, Edward Keeler, Ava Grace Hawkins, Maverick Byrne and Lorelai Provost; sister, Kathleen Mosby; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coleman and Ethel Whitcomb and brother, Daniel Whitcomb.
The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to first responders, Josh Fox and Kelsey Jones from MMR and Deputy Tom Beagle and Officer Ray Karpuk for their professionalism and compassion.
