SKUNDA, Helen Janice - Of Flint, age 93, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 11AM Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Brent Kriesch officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Salvation Army.
Visitation 1-6pm Sunday and 10am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Helen was born in Flint, Michigan on April 2, 1928, the daughter of the late Harry and Edna (Myers) Graves. On June 12, 1959, she married Joseph N. Skunda and he preceded her in death in 1992. Helen was employed as a long distance operator for Michigan Bell.
Surviving are son, Joseph A. Skunda;
and many nieces, nephews and great, great great, great great great nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Marion Dickerson and Ruth Gould, brothers Andy Graves and Harry Graves and niece, Janice.
