GRANDY, Louise E. - Of Swartz Creek, formerly of Alma and Houghton Lake, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022, with a Memorial Service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 7234 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439, with Pastor Nathan Allen officiating.
Louise was born in Elwell, Michigan on December 17, 1925. She married Clare Grandy in Alma, Michigan on July 16, 1955. Louise was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.
Surviving are daughter, Daleene Grandy; Special family members, Keith Thompson, Sue (David) Engel, Sherril (Kevin) Studley, Catherine Smeage, Brenda (Dan) Dredge, Keith (Angela) Thompson, and David (Rebecca) Thompson; Great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; And special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clare Grandy, parents, William and Reva Clark, brothers, Kenneth Clark, Lee Clark, Robert Clark; Sister, Ellen Stanley; Step-daughters Carol Thompson and Marlene (James) Eggert.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Louise’s name to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.
