Lehr, James (Jim)-of Clio, age 76, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Monday, May 2, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow at Thetford Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 3PM until 8PM, and Monday from 10AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.

Jim was born May 19, 1945, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Henry and Margaret (Roh) Lehr. He graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1963. Jim married Yuge (Bong Chun Yu) on January 31, 1968, they shared 54 wonderful years together. He was a United States Army Veteran. Jim worked for General Motors for 28 years. Jim loved farming and his family. He enjoyed watching all Detroit Sports teams but especially his beloved Tigers. You could find Jim at the farm sitting at his spool drinking a beer and watching TV or driving his John Deere gator around the farm. He was a lover of polka and classic country music. He also loved dogs. Anyone that knew Jim, knew he had a big heart and was the sweetest man. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed by many.

Surviving are: Wife Yuge; Daughter, Suzanne (Rob Swales II) Lehr; Grandchildren: Caitlyn (Chris) Rolison, Mason (Michelle) Lehr, Robbie (Sara) Swales III, Cierra (Adam) Lehr, and Alyson Lehr, Great Grandchildren: Layla Lehr, Lena Rolison, Maycee Lehr and Robert Swales IV; Brother: Robert Lehr; Sisters: Betty Wagner, Mary (Harold) Ford, and Margaret Wheeler.
