REYNOLDS, Thomas Robert, Sr. – of Chesaning, age 80, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at his residence, with family by his side. Honoring his wishes, cremation will be taking place. No services are scheduled.
Tom was born May 16, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Archie and Elaine (Mouch) Reynolds. He graduated from Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Michigan in 1959. Tom married Valerie Bunch on June 20, 1994, while on a fishing trip in Ohio. Mr. Reynolds retired from Buick as a committee man on April 1, 1996, after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Montrose Masonic Lodge # 428 F&AM. Tom enjoyed fishing – especially for salmon, and woodworking, he was an accomplished carpenter and builder. He loved traveling with his wife, Valerie – especially spending time at their property in Texas.
Surviving are: Wife, Valerie; Children: Thomas Robert Reynolds, Jr., Kevin Richard (Cindy) Reynolds, and Amy (Luke) Groulx; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; Sister, Sharon (Earl) Schalk; Brother, Jerry (Jeanie) Reynolds; Furry companions, Bandit and Max. Tom was also preceded in death by: Daughter, Debbie McCord; Son, Glenn Jersey, Jr., Great grandson, Anakin Richard Miller; Brother, Rod Reynolds.
