Daniel Lee Headrick, born Sept 16, 1948, passed away Nov 21, 2023. Funeral service will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 3600 S. Lapeer Rd., Metamora, MI 48455. Burial in Meadowview Cemetery, Davison, MI. Family will receive visitors from 2-7 PM, Friday, November 24, 2023, at The New Dawn Memorial Chapel, 1569 S. Elba Rd., Lapeer, MI. Pastor Don Jenkins officiating. Daniel had many hobbies and joys, one being a boxing coach, others were metal detecting, and coin and gun collecting. He is survived by wife Barb of 52 years, children Donnie (spouse Davina), Brian, Lisa (spouse Tom Clark) and Cynthia, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, two brothers (Gerald and Donald), two sisters (Dawna and Sherry), many nieces and nephews, best friend Tim Asbury and beloved pet Tinker. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Laura Headrick.
