PRIEBE, Anne Lindsay – of Clio, age 85, died Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at her daughter's residence. A Celebration of Life will be held January 25, 2025 11am at Clio Cast & Crew Theatre @ 2220 Vienna Rd Clio. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions can be made to the Clio Cast & Crew Theatre or Genesee County Animal Control.

Anne was born February 27, 1939 in Balboa, Panama to the late Robert and Page (Bucher) Fitzgerald. She grew up on Walnut Lake in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and graduated from Fenton High School with the class of 1957. On February 17, 1959 she married Leslie “Phil” Priebe in Flint, Michigan and he preceded her in death. She enjoyed playing cards, games, watching game shows and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Anne was very active throughout her life. Not only did she work in a doctor's office, she worked as a telephone operator and worked with catering companies and ran her brother's restaurant where she was recognized for her "Peanut Butter Pie", which made the Florida newspaper. Anne was commitmented to serving her community. She served on the Washington Community School Boosters, held several roles in the Boy Scouts of America and earned many awards for her achievements including the Silver Beaver award and special recognition for her contribution in developing the Tiger Cubs program which was based on "The Jungle Book". Anne volunteered for many different organizations and has a wall of recognition awards for her volunteer services including: Genesee County Parks and Recreation, several different Senior Centers, Boy Scouts of America, Convoy of Hope, Michigan voting polls, Auto City and Dixie Speedways and many other organizations.

The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Sara with The Medical Team Hospice.

Surviving are: children, Tim (Karen) Priebe, Pamela (Gary) Campbell, Beth (David Reinhardt) Hayden; grandchildren, Crystal, Matthew, Samantha, Kyle, Curtis, Lindsay, Alexandria; great grandchildren, Domnick, Alicia, Kendal, Aubrey, Paisley, Macie, Easton, Mason, Athena; Siblings, Suzie (Tom) Stallings, Chuck (Harriett) Fitzgerald, Bobby (Terri) Fitzgerald; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Linda and Vicky. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leslie “Phil” Priebe; son, Scott Priebe; great grandson, Leland Campbell.
